Hey guys! Wow, I feel like the last few weeks have come and gone in a flash! I’m currently still winding down from our very own wedding festivities. Can I just say, post-wedding blues is in fact a real thing?! This year has proven a challenge to us all. It’s tested us in so many ways. I know firsthand that it’s challenged the love and patience of those who just want to get married and enjoy their wedding day with friends and families. As we all try to adapt to this new normal (Anyone else exhausted from hearing that phrase, or is it just me?) and attempt to get back to some kind of normalcy, couples everywhere are eager to live out their wedding days, no matter the recent changes that are having to be implemented.
Like so many couples everywhere, Alexandra and Romulo decided to opt for a smaller, more intimate ceremony, and postpone the grand celebration to a later date. Though it may not have been what they initially imagined, their wedding last weekend was and still filled with lots of love and laughter. Their church ceremony, attended by just a few family members, was still celebrated via live stream all across the world to family! Soon after, we made a stop at the Parkland Golf and Country Club to take some quick portraits before finishing off the day with tea at the Queens Teahouse in Parkland.
Alex and Romulo, we commend you both for handling the recent changes with patience and grace. Although your wedding day was shorter than originally planned, we’re excited that we get to re-live it again with you both next year! Until then, enjoy the start of a beautiful journey, and we hope you both had a blast in the Smokey Mountains!
