I believe your wedding day should feel like your wedding day, not one long photoshoot.
I'm naturally an organized person, the kind who genuinely enjoys a clean home, keeps a calendar, and still buys a physical planner every year. I like knowing there's a plan and being prepared for what's ahead. On a wedding day, that means I can show up prepared, attentive, and ready to adapt.
But here's the thing: I don't believe the plan matters more than the people in it.
Weddings have a lot of moving pieces, and I'm always paying attention to what needs to happen next, but I'm paying attention to you, too. If you need five minutes to breathe, we'll take five minutes. We'll adjust, keep things moving where we can, and come back when you're ready.
Because being prepared isn't about making your day follow a perfect plan. It's about knowing how to adapt so you can stay present for the parts that actually matter.
That's ultimately what I want for every couple I photograph. Of course, I want you to walk away loving your photographs. But one of the greatest compliments you can give me is telling me you felt comfortable, cared for, and free to actually enjoy the people you love while we made them.

Outside of Photography
I try to live by that same idea in my own life. I value beautiful experiences more than things. Give me lawn seats at a concert where I can dance with my friends, a weekend trip, or a plane ticket somewhere new, and I'm happy!
One of my best friends actually changed my contact photo in her phone to Dora because, despite how much I love routine and having a plan, I also love to travel. We share our locations, so every now and then she'll check mine and find that I've traded home for a different state or country!
I love having structure in my everyday life, but I also love that it gives me room for adventure, time with the people I love, and experiences I'll remember long after they're over.
Because at the end of the day, I think the best parts of life are meant to be experienced, not rushed through.
That applies to your wedding day, too.
