Alexandria and Fernando
I am so excited to share with you this wedding at the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens today! These past two weeks alone have been nothing short of chaotic, am I right? I never thought that I’d see the day where leaving my house felt like a scene out of Dawn of the Dead. We’re just so happy that Alexandria and Fernando were able to celebrate their wedding before we all had to adapt to this new ‘normal’. I myself have decided to do my part in social distancing and have been staying home. Nala doesn’t seem to mind at all.
I’ve always been a homebody, and enjoy my time to myself since I started working from home part-time. Even though I’ve had enough practice to prepare myself for all of this, I’ve been missing basic human interaction. Even passing by a stranger and exchanging hellos when I take Nala on walks has been bringing me joy!
Let’s tune out the craziness of the world for a moment and celebrate these two. Times like these make me so grateful for my photography. For my clients and couples. My creativity has been more than enough to get me through all this free time we have now at the moment.
You may remember Alex and Fernando from their engagement session we shot not too long ago at the same location where they said their ‘I Do’s’. The Morikami Gardens is a hidden gem nestled in Boca Raton. It’s actually one of the places I visit when I need a break from the sandy beaches and south Florida traffic.
Carmen and I loved these two! What a fun and laid back wedding party they had! There’s nothing better than having a couple that actually has you forget you’re working almost the entire time! I loved Alex’s attention to detail and how calm she was throughout the day (trust me, it’s almost never the case! I can only imagine how I’ll be on our wedding day!). Also, don’t even get us started with Fernando’s groomsmen. The guys had us laughing. The. Entire. Time.
Alex and Fernando, we had so much fun with you guys on your wedding day. It was such a treat getting to know you both, and being a part of your big day. We wish you both nothing but good things on your new beginning! Have fun on your honeymoon! We can’t wait to see all the vacay photos!
