Kim and Craig | Married | Key Largo Bay Reefhouse Resort & Marina, Florida

The oceanside Key Largo wedding finally happened. The very thing that he had been patiently waiting years for. Their wedding guest list was a third of their original one, and their wedding day looked different than what they originally had planned. None of it mattered anymore. The extra four months of having to wait to exchange vows instantly vanished into the past.

When he could finally call her his wife, all he wanted to do was hold her tight, never to let go. It didn’t matter that everyone was there in front of them. It didn’t matter that over fifty pairs of eyes were all on the two of them. He had been waiting for this day. It no longer mattered where they were anymore, or the fact they had to reschedule their wedding day twice. All that mattered was that they enjoyed every minute of this beautiful day.

Wedding After 2 Postponements

For Carmen and I, Kim and Craig’s wedding day was special. Not because their wedding took place oceanside at the Reefhouse Resort & Marina in the Florida Keys, but because we understood how disheartening it was for us to have to postpone and reschedule our wedding multiple times. We knew how it felt to inform family and friends they could no longer attend our wedding due to the restrictions put in place. We understood the weight of this year alone has put on us.

I remember the morning of our wedding day. I remember the sense of peace I had. All I wanted to do was have fun with the people who were there. Our family and friends that made it to Atlanta; who had stuck by us even through all the ups and downs. I no longer cared about little details, or if anything would go wrong. I remember saying “it could rain all day, as long as I still get to marry my best friend”. (It was actually quite beautiful that day!)

That’s the vibe we felt from Kim and Craig. All they wanted out of their day was to enjoy it.

Every moment of it. Just like we did with ours.

Kim and Craig, thank you so much for having us there with you both on your long-awaited day. It was a breath of fresh air seeing how care-free and in love you both were. Your day reminded us of ours just two weekends ago. From your crazy fun bridal party, to the tear-filled moments. Thank you for allowing us to capture your memories. It was a beautiful day spent with you both in paradise. If only there was a rewind button. Until then, we hope you enjoy just a few of our faves from your special day.
