Twenty-twenty was a challenging year for us all, that’s no doubt. I don’t know if I’d want to repeat it, but it had its good moments. While Carmen and I went through multiple reschedules, we were eventually able to get married! We were just among thousands of couples who had to endure the challenges that the year brought to those within the wedding industry. I am, however, thankful that I had my brides to lean on during the crazy times. Tana was one of them.
I first met Tana shortly after I made our photography business ‘official’. She was my first official ‘in-person’ meeting for a wedding! We met at a cute French Cafe that she used to study at regularly during grad-school. I instantly fell in love with her high energy and vibes! She and Derek met during their time in the service. I still love hearing the story of how they came to be. Tana used to say that Derek seemed like the serious type, but she never stopped having eyes for him from afar while they were both on active duty, traveling around the world to various countries. Until one day, she caught him smiling and laughing with some of the guys, and instantly she fell in love! Their love story endured long distance, until finally Derek moved down to south Florida with Tana recently.
We’re so grateful to have crossed paths with these two vibrant, and God-fearing human beings! Carmen and I cannot express how thankful that they trusted us to capture their love story and their wedding day! Enjoy just a few of my favorites from their wedding day!

We're traveling bugs who calls Georgia home sweet home. We try and live life with equal parts spontaneous adventure and familiar routine, and cherish the mornings when we can just sit and enjoy our cup of coffees together! We're so glad you stopped by and can't wait for us to get to know each other!
