I’m so excited to finally be sharing Dana and Nick’s beautiful destination beach wedding at the Palms Hotel and Spa in Miami Beach! You might recognize these two from their engagement session we photographed last year at the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. What a fun time that was! Although it did rain for a short time during their session, it didn’t faze them one bit! From then on, we got the vibe that these two would be laid back, and a good time when their wedding day came!

Dana and Nick, along with their family and friends, traveled from Chicago to celebrate their marriage the other weekend. The girls got ready on location, with the talented team of ladies from Uniique Image. Carmen and I met them at their beautiful suite. You know how crazy I am for a good getting-ready location with lots of natural light! It makes a world of a difference for your photos! If you’re opting for a Miami Beach destination wedding, this hotel is one of the ones we highly recommend!

Since the girls’ hair and makeup finished on time, we even managed to squeeze in a first look with Dana’s closest gals and her father! It was such a sweet day filled with so many happy emotions! The rest of the day was smooth sailing, and it was mixed with more happy tears!
