A Destination Wedding at the Casa Marina Hotel

Carmen and I recently got back from shooting a wedding at Casa Marina Hotel Little did we know that while photographing Rebekah and Taylor’s wedding, another wedding was in the works for one of her bridesmaids. Rebekah’s sister to be exact! We loved getting to know Rebekah’s side of the family, so when Anna, her older sibling, reached out to us to photograph their wedding, undoubtedly did we say yes! The sisters’ mom was the one to reach out to us initially, asking us dates that WE were available! You guys, we’ve never had a wedding date work around OUR availability! It was humbling, and quite the honor to say the least.

One thing that stands out about Anna, from the moment you first meet her, is her infectious smile, and genuinely positive energy. It just makes you want to be her best friend the moment you meet! Did we mention that we just absolutely adore Anna’s entire family?!

Once the girls finished getting hair and makeup ready, we headed to their venue just minutes from their Airbnb location (which was beautiful, and perfect for those getting ready shots!). Anna and Austin wanted a destination feel to their wedding day, without having to travel too far. They loved the European-vibe and Casa Marina was perfect for it! The Hotel is nestled on the beachfront in Jacksonville, Florida. Their wedding day from start to finish was filled with nothing short of pure bliss, with so much love all around from their closest family and friends, you could just see it radiating off of these two!
