One of the many things we love about our jobs as wedding photographers, is getting to know our couples during their engagement sessions. Gifting them with the session ensures that we get to know each other before the big day! By that time, they know us, they’re comfortable, and it results in the images that we adore capturing; fun, genuine, and full of laughter! Recently, we got to shoot an engagement session at one of our local favorite places in Delray, Lake Ida Park. It’s where we take our fur baby to play with all the other dogs at the dog park. *We’re serious dog parents over here*.

I’ve always believed that the person your marrying should also be someone you consider your best friend. Carmen IS my best friend. He’s my travel companion. He’s my partner in crime when I’m craving a late night meal somewhere. He’s the person I send funny memes to and emojis throughout the day just because! I love spending as much time with him as I can (Don’t worry, I’ve learned to have balance in my life when it comes to business and personal!). So it’s no surprise that I wanted him to be alongside me when I started my business! He’s the person I’ve chosen to marry, why wouldn’t I want as much time with him on this Earth?

I love laughing. I love the feeling of sore abs after laughing hysterically. I love the good feeling and positive energy it comes with. So when we finally got to meet Nicole and Loammi in person for their engagement session, we instantly connected! I mean, they were comfortable in front of our cameras from the start! They had US laughing hysterically with them during their session, and it was great getting to know these two!

You know those friends that come to mind when you want to go on a night out on the town and just have a great time? These two are THOSE friends! Nicole and Loammi, congratulations on your engagement!
