Yingfei and William

The last few days in Florida have been such a blessing with the beautiful weather. I love Florida weather, but growing up in Georgia most of my life, I do miss the days below sixty degrees! There’s nothing like cozying up in a sweater! Thankfully the weather this past weekend was perfect for an engagement session!

It’s such a pleasure getting to meet our wedding couples before their actual day. It’s a time for us to get to know each other, and get familiar with one another, to ensure that portraits on their wedding day depict the style that our clients fall in love with! I always love suggesting West Palm as a location to shoot at. It’s absolutely beautiful up there! When Yingfei mentioned she would like the beach but also somewhere with Spanish/Italian influences, I knew the perfect spot! After our last session with Sarah and Brian for their engagement photos, we knew why so many photographers love this location!

When these two showed up Saturday afternoon looking absolutely fabulous and like they just stepped out of a magazine, Carmen and I had to contain our excitement! Fun fact… William proposed to Yingfei at Yosemite National Park in California during a strenuous hike! How adventurous and sweet! I’ve always wanted to visit Yosemite, so William, you might have just given me a destination for this year to knock off my list! Anyone who knows me, knows I’m ALWAYS up for an adventure. It’s probably why Carmen waited until we were halfway around the world before he decided to pop the question to me!
