I could not be more excited to share Carly and Sam’s engagement session in West Palm Beach this past weekend! It’s been quite an eventful last few months hasn’t it? Adapting to this new ‘normal’, as they call it now, has gotten some getting used to.
I can’t express how relieved I am to finally be getting back to shooting and meeting with our couples. It’s been the ‘reset button’ that I’ve needed. Not only have we had to reschedule numerous weddings, we had to re-plan our wedding for the THIRD time. Yes friends, this girl had the pleasure of planning and replanning her own wedding in two different states, while living in a third! Let’s just say I am READY to marry my best friend and move on to the next chapter of our lives. The last few weeks alone have been quite the weight on our shoulders, as it is for many of you all!
The weather down here in south Florida has been constantly rainy with some moments of sunshine. The day of Carly and Sam’s engagement session, I kept in constant communication with Carly about the weather. It was a possibility starting their session early, as the forecast kept us on our toes. Thankfully, the heavens above decided to grace us with sunshine! It could not have happened to a more wonderful couple. I mean, these two were just too cute from the start! The fact that we wore our masks in the scorching Florida heat was well worth it to be able to capture their engagement portraits.
Carly and Sam, thank you for being great sports through all of the walking and even more through the ridiculous Florida heat. You both were a fresh reminder as to why I fell in love with photography to begin with. Carmen and I had such a great time with you both. We are counting down the days to your wedding when we can hang out with you both and your sweet mom!
[…] absolutely love these two to pieces, ever since we met them for their engagement session last year! Sometimes meeting our couples before their wedding day has us longing for their wedding […]
We're traveling bugs who calls Georgia home sweet home. We try and live life with equal parts spontaneous adventure and familiar routine, and cherish the mornings when we can just sit and enjoy our cup of coffees together! We're so glad you stopped by and can't wait for us to get to know each other!
