A Summer Engagement Shoot at Riverbend Park | Florida Wedding Photographer

Whenever we’re shooting in the summer time months here in Florida, we always pray that the heat will go easy on us. So if you’ve never been to Florida during July and August… it’s SCORCHING HOT. Thankfully Kayla and Scott chose Riverbend Park for their engagement shoot, where we were able to find plenty of spots with shade! We had yet to shoot at this beautiful location and were totally grateful that these two introduced us to it! It was a nice afternoon spending time with these two wonderful souls and just getting to know them even more.

Can you believe these two were high school sweethearts?! It’s so beautiful getting to see that love truly can conquer all. I love what I do. Our couples that we get the pleasure of meeting and witnessing one of the most exciting seasons of their lives, remind me every day why I continue to pursue wedding photography. Love is beautiful. It’s not perfect. It can be messy… but through it all, it’s worth it.
