A few weeks ago, Carmen and I FINALLY got to shoot at one of our dream venues! We had the honor of doing an engagement session at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. This is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking and worth the hefty photo permit fee they require.
Dana and Nicholas were such an ideal couple for us the second they mentioned wanting to have their session there. They flew in from Chicago two days prior to us meeting that day. All week, the forecast stated rain ALL DAY. When we pulled into the parking lot of the Gardens, these two were standing underneath a tree, all dressed up, getting rained on without an umbrella! They still, however, had the most welcoming smiles and were excited to see us.
The Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is perfect for an engagement because of the opportunity for so many backdrops. They are so beautiful in fact, that they’ve been featured during summits. It has even been visited by many influential people such as President Raegan, Queen Elizabeth, and even a Pope!
Dana and Nicholas, we had so much fun with you guys and thank you for letting us shoot in a location we’ve been dying to photograph at!
