Fake Wedding… or not!

The day has finally come when I can share this post with you all! I’m currently doing a happy dance in my chair as I type! During the summer, we teamed up with The Big Fake Wedding along with a few other talented wedding vendors to create a ‘mock’ wedding. “What IS The Big Fake Wedding, you ask?”.

It’s a twist to the normal bridal expo, where you can come and check out wedding vendors around the area all at once. The best part is that the whole thing is set up as a real wedding, with a REAL couple! You get to actually play a wedding guest and witness their vow renewal, then party along with the vendors afterwards! There’s prizes, and drawings, and goodies to take home with you as well.

We had so much fun collaborating and spending time with vendors we’ve yet to meet, and connected with those that we feel we’ll be long time friends with. I’ve always believed in the motto, “Community Over Competition” and that weekend, it was nothing but love from each and every talented vendor we talked to.

#Goals

One of my business goals for 2021 was to be brave enough to finally submit my work for publication. Never mind if any of my submissions got accepted, I just knew it was time to take that next step. Little did I know, however, that one of their major media partners would accept our work!
