I LOVE how this engagement session at Millennium Gate Museum turned out!
Earlier this month, we got to head back to my home state of Georgia for the weekend! We’ve found ourselves there frequently the last few months since welcoming so many new Georgia couples to our wedding tribe! During our trip, we snuck off to Midtown Atlanta to meet MaKayla and Wade for their engagement session at the Millennium Gate Museum. This beautiful spot is literally tucked away in the middle of everything, and actually hosts events and weddings as well! The architecture of the museum is a stunning blend of traditional Georgian architecture and Roman influences, with beautiful columns, arches, and sculptures. The museum’s gardens are also a sight to behold, with perfectly manicured lawns, fountains, and blooming flowers. The museum also showcases multiple historic artifacts from Georgia and from around the world. The best part though, is the massive arch which emulates the Arch of Titus in Rome!
These two young love birds were the absolute cutest and I especially couldn’t get enough of MaKayla’s sweet southern accent! We’re so happy that the universe allowed us to cross paths with these two people. Even better, we get to be their photographers for their wedding day next year!
MaKayla and Wade, thank you for trusting us as your photographers. Even going along when we had to go back and forth on locations due to weather and events around the city! Enjoy some of our favorites from this beautiful session!
